Gun Safety
WMAAC spoke with students in the Maddux Elementary after school program, about Gun Safety. Students were provided with a variety of tips to help keep them safe from the dangers of guns. We would like to thank Det. Manning of the West Memphis Police Department for answering questions, asked by students.
During the session students signed a pledge acknowledging that they will not handle guns without permission. Most importantly, we emphasized that guns are not toys!

Halloween Safety
Today we shared Halloween Safety tips with students at Maddux Elementary. There are a lot of Fall Festivals and Trick or Treat events going on this week. Remember, #SafetyFirst Have a safe and fun weekend!
Disaster Preparedness
September is Disaster Preparedness Month! WMAAC conducted a virtual training for the Maddux Elementary after school program, in conjunction with Bethel Community Development and The Red Cross.
