#ConstitutionDay2018 “Key issues in every election increasingly relate to the concerns of students and professionals between the ages of 18 and 29, making it essential for members within that age group to educate themselves on political issues and take to the polls.” Special thanks to the ASU Mid-South Trio program for extending the invitation to us. #VoterRegistration2018
Young voters often neglect the importance of voting, but their voice is just as important as anyone else. First stop...Academies of West Memphis. As we entered the library, we payed special attention to the artwork, created by students at the school. We would like to thank the teachers and the library staff for their assistance. What a great turnout. #RedArmyReady2018
Voter Register continues! WMAAC traveled to Earle High School today, and met with the senior class. Members explained the importance of voting, and why we exercise our right to do so. Thank you to the staff for assisting and encouraging students to get signed up. #DSTVOTES2018 #VoterTakeOver
#RedArmyReady2018 #SocialAction This morning WMAAC members went to Marion High School to conduct Voter Registration. There were Juniors and Seniors, 18 years of age, that were eligble to register to vote. Chapter members were able to assist the students in completing the application and returned them to the Crittenden County Clerk's Office. We would especially like to thank the teachers and staff at Marion High School for their help in encouraging students to get registered.
